Peripheral Artery Vascular Treatment in Queens, NY
If you notice that your legs ache or tingle when you walk a block or two in Queens, you may want to get screened for peripheral artery disease (PAD). This condition is caused by plaque building up in the arteries over time. When plaque clogs the arteries, blood cannot flow to the legs and feet as it should.
PAD affects many people, but anyone over the age of 65 is at risk. Those who smoke or have diabetes, as well as people with high cholesterol and blood pressure, are at an elevated risk for developing PAD after the age of 50.
That’s why USA Vascular Centers offers over 40 PAD treatment locations throughout the United States, including two peripheral artery disease treatment centers in Queens, NY. If you have any symptoms of PAD, such as leg cramping, slower toenail growth, or numbness and tingling in the legs, come visit one of our Queens PAD treatment centers.
Our vascular health care locations in Queens are staffed with highly-skilled Queens vascular doctors. They provide leading-edge care in our clean, comfortable facilities. We encourage you to schedule an appointment, especially if the PAD risk factors apply to you.
All Queens, New York Locations
Both of our Queens peripheral artery disease treatment centers are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Minimally Invasive PAD Treatments in Queens
We offer three minimally invasive PAD disease treatments in Queens: angioplasty, atherectomy, and stent placement. For each of these procedures, our highly skilled Queens vascular specialists thread small catheters into the vascular system, using different medical techniques to widen arteries that have been narrowed with plaque. Your Queens vascular doctors will put together a personalized care plan based on your medical history and PAD diagnosis.
Because our Queens PAD treatments are minimally invasive and non-surgical, there are no stitches involved. Instead of general anesthesia, patients receive local sedation, meaning they can go home the same day. The entire office visit typically lasts about two hours, with the procedure itself taking between 30 and 45 minutes.

Very good experience. Caring, friendly, professional. Very clean, tidy, and organized office and patient procedure rooms. Very attentive to correct scheduled procedure (left or right leg) and attentive they have the correct patient (patient attestation at every procedure). Attentive as well to being certain the procedure is covered by your health care provider. There was a man waiting once while I was there for the office staff to be absolutely sure his procedure was covered by his healthcare provider, they were initially unable to verify and so he had to wait for that to be done before they would proceed with his appointment. I noticed this and truly appreciated – as if it were me, I would not want to proceed until they were absolutely certain of the coverage by my healthcare provider. Very often other healthcare providers aren’t sure, can’t give you any information, tell you to call your healthcare provider yourself.
