Peripheral Artery Disease Treatment Specialists in Florida
PAD is a treatable health issue that affects many Americans over 50, but without professional treatment, the disease can lead to infections and heart problems. If you experience PAD symptoms, meeting with one of our vascular doctors in Florida for a professional diagnosis is the first step.
If you are over the age of 50 and find climbing stairs and taking walks more challenging than before, it may not be due to aging. Pain in your legs and feet, swelling, and decreased mobility may be caused by peripheral arterial disease (PAD). PAD causes these and other symptoms due to restricted circulation in your legs and feet.
Even in the absence of symptoms, the disease can still cause severe damage to your kidneys, stomach, and other organs. It’s estimated that 40 percent of people with PAD do not experience symptoms, so it’s essential to understand your unique risks.
While PAD is common in the U.S. for certain groups, the risk of contracting the disease can be much higher. You could be at greater risk if you have contributing factors or unhealthy habits like these:
- Smoking
- Overeating
- Sedentary lifestyle
- Diabetes
- High blood pressure
Whether you notice PAD symptoms or are at increased risk, our Florida vascular specialists can help manage the disease. Take control of your health and talk with one of our experienced vascular doctors in Florida about your risks.

Very good experience. Caring, friendly, professional. Very clean, tidy, and organized office and patient procedure rooms. Very attentive to correct scheduled procedure (left or right leg) and attentive they have the correct patient (patient attestation at every procedure). Attentive as well to being certain the procedure is covered by your health care provider. There was a man waiting once while I was there for the office staff to be absolutely sure his procedure was covered by his healthcare provider, they were initially unable to verify and so he had to wait for that to be done before they would proceed with his appointment. I noticed this and truly appreciated – as if it were me, I would not want to proceed until they were absolutely certain of the coverage by my healthcare provider. Very often other healthcare providers aren’t sure, can’t give you any information, tell you to call your healthcare provider yourself.
